The problem
Trimming a newborn's nails shouldn't feel like defusing a bomb
Tiny fingers, sharp clippers, and a baby who moves at exactly the wrong moment. Almost every parent has caught skin at least once, and almost nobody talks about it. The fear is the reason nails get left too long — and long nails are why newborns scratch their own faces.
- Clippers — No margin for error. One wriggle and you catch skin.
- Scissors — Better control, same risk, and impossible on a moving hand.
- Emery boards — Safe, but slow enough that they lose patience before you finish.
- Biting them off — Everyone admits to this eventually. It is not hygienic and it doesn't work.
Files, never cuts
A rotating pad wears the nail down. There is no blade anywhere on it.
Quiet enough for a sleeping baby
The whole point: trim them while they nap instead of fighting a moving hand.
Built-in light
See the nail edge properly, including during a night feed.
Pads for every stage
Softest grade for newborn nails, coarser grades as they harden.
One button
Operated with one hand, because the other one is holding the baby.
Works on you too
The coarsest pad handles adult nails, which is how it earns its place in the bag.

I had a very small baby, and her nails were VERY flexible but VERY long, and this product has helped me 100% to file her nails without causing any damage or discomfort. She falls asleep when I use it, the sound is not loud, and it can be used wonderfully with just one hand.

A good product. Its speed is normal and if you press it, it slows down for safety reasons. It comes with 4 types of sandpaper. Good product.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the converter arrived exactly as in the pictures with interchangeable heads according to the baby's age. The back part opens with a twist and requires a AAA battery.

Questions parents actually ask
Is it safe for a newborn?
There is no blade. A soft rotating pad wears the nail down rather than cutting it, so the worst it can do against skin is tickle. Use the softest pad for the first few months. VERIFY this against your supplier's specification before publishing.
Will it wake them up?
It is designed to be used during a nap — that is the entire point of it. VERIFY: get the decibel figure from your supplier in writing and test a sample yourself before making this claim.
What if my baby won't hold still?
Most parents find it easier precisely because it does not need a still hand. There is no cutting edge, so a sudden movement means you miss the nail rather than catch the skin. Doing one or two fingers at a time is normal and fine.
How often do the pads need replacing?
Answer this once you have the supplier's figure. Do not guess — a wrong number here becomes a complaint later.
Can I use it on myself?
Yes. The coarsest pad is intended for adult nails, which is why it tends to live in the changing bag rather than a drawer.
What batteries does it take?
VERIFY — buyers on the supplier's listing consistently report a single AAA battery, loaded by twisting the base open, and not included in the box. Confirm this with the supplier in writing before it goes live, and say plainly whether the battery is included.
How long does delivery take?
State your real dispatch and delivery windows here, and make sure they match your shipping policy. An honest ten days beats an optimistic three.
What if it isn't right for us?
Mirror your published refund policy word for word. Do not write a friendlier version here than the one in your policy — the policy is the one that governs.
