This is not a sleep product
We want to be blunt about that, because plenty of listings for products like this one are not.
A lounger is for supervised awake time, with you in the room and watching. It is somewhere to put the baby down for the length of a cup of tea — not somewhere they sleep, and not somewhere they are left alone.
Never use it inside a crib, bassinet, adult bed or sofa, and never on a raised surface such as a table, worktop or couch. It goes on the floor.
If your baby falls asleep in it, move them to a firm, flat, empty cot or bassinet. American Academy of Pediatrics guidance is that infants sleep alone, on their back, on a firm flat surface with no soft bedding — no padded lounger on the market changes that.
Stop using it the moment your baby can roll over or push up on their hands. For most babies that is somewhere around four to six months, and it comes without warning.
The problem
You have not put this baby down in three weeks
Newborns want to be held, and for the first months that is most of the day. It is lovely for about a week. Then you need to eat something hot, answer the door, or use both hands for ninety seconds, and there is nowhere to put them that they will tolerate.
That is the gap this fills. Not sleep — sleep belongs in a cot. Just somewhere to set them down, in the room with you, for the length of a cup of tea.
- The playmat — Flat, open and nothing to touch. Some babies are content there. A lot startle and want up again inside a minute.
- The bouncer — Works, but it lives in one room, and strapping them in and out for ten minutes is more effort than it saves.
- The swing — Expensive, enormous, and roughly half of babies want nothing to do with it. You find out which after you have bought it.
- Just holding them — The one that actually works, until you need both hands for something that will not wait.

Using it safely
Can my baby sleep in this?
No. It is for awake time with you in the room. If they drift off, move them to a firm, flat, empty cot. We would rather lose the sale than be vague about this.
Why are you so insistent about that?
Because padded loungers have been recalled repeatedly for infant deaths when used for sleep, and the sellers involved were mostly marketing them as sleep products. The product is fine for what it is for. It is not a sleep surface.
When do we stop using it?
The moment your baby can roll over or push up on their hands, whichever comes first. It usually arrives without warning, so start checking as they approach four months.
Can I leave the room for a minute?
No. Supervised means you can see them. If you need to leave, take them with you or put them in the cot.
Can it go on a sofa or a bed?
No. Put it on the floor. Never use it in a crib, bassinet, adult bed or sofa, and never on a raised surface such as a table or worktop — that adds a fall risk that has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with where it is sitting.
How do we use it safely with a newborn?
Supervised awake use only, with you in the room and able to see them, and always on the floor. About the product
How do I wash it?
The outer cover unzips and goes in the washing machine. Wash it before first use, and expect to wash it often — that is what it is for.
Will it help with reflux or colic?
We are not going to claim that. Anything implying a medical benefit needs clinical evidence, and a lounger does not have it. Ask your health visitor or paediatrician.
Can I use it as a pregnancy pillow?
It is not designed for that and we would not sell it on that basis.
What colours are there?
Rose, Oat and Stone — three low-contrast neutrals. All three ship from the same supplier line.
Ordering and support
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and delivery across the United States takes 7–20 business days. Shipping is free. Those are the same windows as our published shipping policy — we would rather give you an honest range than an optimistic one.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
We ship to the United States and Israel. Nowhere else yet — those are the only two regions you will be able to check out from.
What if it is not right for us?
You have 30 days from delivery. Email us at nutrubabe@gmail.com with your order number and we will reply within 24 hours on business days with return instructions. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging. Our published refund policy governs, and it says the same thing.
